From the Head of PE and Sport 05.09.2020

We are very excited to be able to return to active PE lessons as of this coming Monday. Over the past few weeks, students in both Primary and Secondary have been extremely patient and understanding of the restrictions imposed on PE lessons. I know students (and staff!) have been longing to get back outside and moving again and there was certainly a loud cheer from my Year 6 class when I told them the great news that we would be heading back outside to enjoy PE together for the first time in over 6 months!  

All parents should have received a letter yesterday detailing the procedures for PE which will also adhere to the school’s Post MCO Safety Policy (SOP). Please make sure you read this information carefully and feel free to contact me at cwatt@kis.edu.my  

It has been noted, particularly in Primary when we have taken students for their movement walks, that many students have been coming to school without hats. Please remember that ALL children in both Primary and Secondary must wear hats when outside so please make sure your child comes to school with their KIS hat with their name clearly labelled each day. Students will not be able to participate in outside PE activities without a hat.
