Term 2 Swimming
As detailed above, students in Key Stage 2, 3 and 4 (Years 3-11) have all commenced their swimming lessons for the Term at Sutera Harbour Resort. In the first week, all students underwent an initial base assessment to check their current swimming proficiency level and have now been placed in small ability based groups.
Parents, please make sure that on the day your child has swimming that they come to school with their swimming costume underneath their normal school uniform together with a bag containing their underwear to change into after the lesson.
Primary students can wear their slippers to school and bring their socks and school shoes to change into after the lesson. Secondary students should still wear their normal school shoes and can bring a pair of slippers to change into when going to the pool.
At the conclusion of their lesson, all students will shower and then change into their normal school uniform. Please note, PE uniform should not be worn on swimming days.
The swimming unit will last 8 weeks and finish on the week beginning Monday 2nd March.
If you have any questions relating to the swimming program then please feel free to contact Miss Watt or Mr Bromley (Swimming Coordinator).
