We are proud and pleased to announce that Amar Salih [Year 12] has been awarded ‘Top in World’ for his performance in IGCSE Mathematics by the Cambridge Examination Board. Amar scored 100% in the exam, gaining an A*. He did exceptionally well across all of his subjects, with A* in Add Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and A grades in PE, English Literature and English Language. Amar is studying A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry. The award ceremony will take place in Subang Jaya on Thursday 21st November. Amar’s success is extremely impressive. Last year over 1,000,000 students in 10.000 schools sat Cambridge exams. They were located all around the world including the UK, USA, China, India and Singapore and also throughout Europe, South America and the Middle East. Amar thoroughly deserves this accolade and we know he is destined for more success moving forward.

International Day
KIS teachers and staff [not forgetting parents] got into the swing of things on Thursday during International Day. Mr. Kelly operated his drone to take some photos and videos of the early action and some had gone to a lot of effort with their costumes
International Day Activity
Ms Bater’s Year 10 History group learned about the League of Nations and then did an international day quiz and her Year 8 class learned about flags of the world and their history. Y9s, in their Mandarin class, learned different counties’ names and nationalities in Chinese.
The Year 11 Drama group focussed on the environmental elements/humanity pitched against the environment using Samuel Beckett’s End Game as their stimulus
