Dear KIS Community,
The upcoming beach clean up at Langkah Syabas Beach Resort, Kinarut has prompted me to write about the wonderful effects volunteering can have on our sense of wellbeing.

Volunteering is an amazing way to make a positive difference in the lives of others and in our own life. Volunteering can provide us with a sense of accomplishment and meaning. Plus, volunteering can help to build relationships and foster a sense of community.
Based on the type of volunteering work, some can even provide us with physical health benefits as we go out and use our strengths and muscles to carry out activities. There are many different ways to volunteer and that depends on the feel good experience you get back in return. No matter what skills or interests you have, there is a way for you to get involved. Not only does volunteering help us to make a difference in our community, it can also boost our physical and mental wellbeing.
