Parents who have been with KIS for a long time will know the school had been developing the use of IT for a while. Before Covid-19 the school had upgraded the infrastructure for IT and then developed our resources. We had been planning to introduce a ‘bring your own device’ (BYOD) scheme for our older students first and then slowly widen the use lower down the school. The pandemic arrived and we were able to quickly switch over to remote learning and integrate our teaching for a technology based approach. Now that we are back in school one to one learning has become the norm across secondary and the older years in primary. To support our community, Acer have agreed to offer a discount exclusively to KIS parents when purchasing a new Acer device. Please see the attached document from Acer to explain more.
