HOUSE NEWS 16.09.2023

Primary are really shining when it comes to earning housepoints and this week they showed just how brightly they shine! Collectively, students earned 555 housepoints which is over 100 housepoints a day! It was another close battle this week with less than 20 housepoints separating everyone.

 

The housepoints we awarded to each team was:

 

In 3rd place with 177 housepoints is Sapi!

In 2nd place with 188 housepoints is Sulug!

In 1st place with 190 housepoints is Gaya!

 

Our congratulations go to Gaya Pangolins for another win this term! Who will we be celebrating as Housepoint Champions next week?!

Sulug Sharks were victorious as we celebrated the submissions to our Back to School and House Pride fun challenges. There were many awesome entries to both challenges and we hope you enjoy the celebration video highlighting many of the wonderful entries we received! The Monthly Maths Challenge continues for another week with our September Challenge! Make sure you check out the Google Drive for the Maths challenge for your year group! There are challenges for F1&F2, Y1&Y2, Y3&Y4 and Y5&Y6. Check out the challenge details and get those maths brains calculating and solving! All submissions for this month’s challenge are due by Friday 29th September 2023. Good luck KIS!

Dojo Challenge – Malaysian Pride!

Last week we celebrated House Pride and now we celebrate Malaysian Pride with our next Fun Challenge! To recognise the recent celebrations of Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day this weekend, can you show what you are proud of about Malaysia? You could choose to recreate a famous landmark using blocks or computer programming! How about drawing and painting the national flowers, animals and birds! Make your own MAlaysian flag to decorate your home or even get baking and make some sweet treats inspired by this amazing country we call home!

Ms. Lisa in our Marketing Department may use some of the wonderful challenge submissions each week to celebrate and share your wonderful work through videos created for the KIS newsletter and social media sites.
