From the Principal 15.06.2024

Only two weeks now until the end of the 2023-2024 academic year. How the time has flown by!!!

As you are no doubt aware from my previous newsletters, recent coffee mornings and the April EGM, there is a significant amount of positive change on the horizon for KIS. New learning spaces, sports facilities and programs are set to be launched in the coming year and KIS is steadily growing and welcoming new students.

To ensure that our school continues to offer the educational and community experience that you and your children deserve, it is vital that at key times of the year the school actively elicits feedback.

I am delighted to announce the launch of the 2024 Kinabalu International School ‘Community Survey’. You can access the survey by clicking the link HERE.

This survey is open to all current parents, students (who will receive further details about this on Monday at school) and staff and we request that as many of you fill it in as possible with your honest thoughts and feedback.

Data, observations and suggestions gathered from this survey will be instrumental in driving further innovations, developments and evolutions to the KIS offer.

The survey is entirely anonymous and we request it is only filled in once by stakeholders. The survey will run until midnight Thursday 27th June.

I look forward to receiving your feedback, whatever it may be, so we can continue to nurture global citizens to the best of our ability and improve our already great school.

Recently communication went home relating to the upcoming ‘End of Year Celebration & Awards Day’ taking place on Friday June 28th.

This event is shaping up to be a wonderful morning and a brilliant event wherein we will not only celebrate students for their hard work, we will also be graduating out of the Year 13 cohort.

Parent attendance at this event is strongly encouraged so you may be a part of our year in review and the first ever whole-school off-site end of year event.
