Dear KIS Community,

With just a couple of days left for school this year I wish to say a huge thank you to our students, staff and parents. We have been forced to work outside of the school and you have risen to the challenge admirably. It has not always been smooth sailing and we have had our ups and downs. The end of the term is here and we all need to collect our thoughts and have a rest to ready ourselves for the new year. Thank you all and I look forward to a calmer, more productive and social year ahead of us.

As we approach the conclusion of this term, we can still celebrate our students’ achievements. Taking part in a WWF international global challenge, some of our Primary students excelled and put KIS in first place for the International Schools involved, further news inside this newsletter. A massive well done to all involved. Please check your emails for an information letter that was sent on Thursday and also check Primary and Secondary sections of the newsletter for details of the last couple of days and celebration assemblies.

Another student led initiative is the student newspaper ‘KIS Today’, the latest edition can be found on our website (here) or can be accessed as a flipbook (here). Well done and thank you to all of our student contributors.

Finally, another thank you, to everyone who has helped with this year’s Christmas Angels, Ms Rose and helpers will be visiting the Sabah Cheshire Home early next week to make delivery of all the fantastic and generous gifts members of our community have given. Thank you.

I wish you all a lovely holiday, merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. See you in 2021 and good riddance to 2020!
