KIS CUP

Last year in the lead up to the Men’s Football World Cup, we ran a highly successful and hugely enjoyable lunch time football competition for primary students, ‘The KIS CUP’. Next month, the Women’s Football World Cup kicks off in France and 24 of the best women’s football nations will be challenging each other to see who be crowned as the 2019 World Cup Champions.

The PE Department have again decided to run ‘The KIS Cup’ for students in Years 3-6. Both boys and girls are welcome to sign up to take part and there will be a competition for students in Year 3 & 4 and a separate competition for students in years 5 & 6. All those who register will be allocated into a team to compete in throughout the competition. If your child would like to take part in the competition then they will need to register with the PE Department by no later than Wednesday 22nd May. A schedule of the KIS Cup matches will be posted in next week’s newsletter.

The competition will take place during Tuesday lunchtimes for Year 3 and 4 students and various different days during lunchtimes for Year 5 and 6 students.  In order to take part in the games, students will need to bring a change of clothes. Only trainers are allowed to be worn, no football boots. Players can wear shin guards if they wish.

Don’t forget to register to take part!
