FROM THE OUTGOING PTASC
The 22/23 year has been an exciting one for the KIS Parents and Teachers Association, as we happily resumed hosting the large community events that had been so missed during the pandemic. The New Friends Coffee Mornings and International Day made popular returns and weekly ice cream sales (we sold approximately 4,000 cold treats this cool year alone!) have kept us very busy. Seeing all the excitement and enthusiasm from students, parents and teachers has made the return to it all worthwhile.
It has been a pleasure to collaborate with so many parent volunteers from diverse nationalities and to appreciate the gift of such an internationally-minded school community. KIS has welcomed many new families this year which has brought fresh faces and ideas to the PTA. These diverse perspectives and new experiences enrich our school, and we are eager to continue welcoming parents from all facets of our community to take an active part in the PTA. Everyone has something valuable to contribute for the benefit of our incredible students.
We are grateful for the support of all who have volunteered their time and effort towards making our events and initiatives a success this year. Our sincere thanks also go out to the KIS faculty and staff. We greatly appreciate all that you do for our children, thank you for your continuous support this year and always.
The steering committee of 2022/2023 wishes the new team every success for the next year.

FROM THE INCOMING PTASC
As we race rapidly towards the end of the school year, the new PTA Steering Committee (PTASC) have begun planning for next year’s calendar of events in earnest.
As the PTASC will be starting with a nearly new team of parents and teachers, alongside a new Head of School, we are really excited to see what we can add to our already fabulous school community.
Over the next few weeks and months we will be grateful for all the support, guidance and ideas that all of the parents can offer to us.
Please do share with us any ideas or advice that you’ve been keeping to yourself, or been waiting for the right time to spill!
