In celebration of our upcoming Earth Week and the continuing effort to promote sustainability and responsibility to the environment, the school will be experiencing ‘Meat Free Monday’ on the first day of Earth Week on the 17th of April. On that day only, the canteen’s menu will be entirely meat-free as it is believed that reducing the consumption of animal products is a big step to a sustainable future and animal agriculture is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions.

Meat Free Mondays might also be made into a regular weekly theme if this gets enough support from the community.
