U15 FOBISIA Games
Today, making the LONG journey home from outside Bangkok are 22 (+3 teachers) very tired, but tenacious athletes.
As I write this, the girls are getting kitted up for basketball and the boys are pulling on their football boots for the 3rd successive day, and 4th sport of the tournament having already given it their all in swimming, athletics and football (girls) and basketball (boys).
We have witnessed some superb performances over the course of the 2 days. Some of those performances have been rewarded with medals, but equally some of the biggest moments have simply been seeing students rise up and push themselves out of their comfort zone to support their team in and pushing on even when the circumstances are tough and overwhelming.
We will have a full report of all the action next week, but for now I would just like to say how proud Mr Watson, Mrs Abdullah and I are of this team and what they have already accomplished.

U13’s FOBISIA Games (19th-23rd February)
Training will commence on Monday 7th November.
Monday – Basketball
Tuesday – Athletics/Fitness
Friday – Football
I will also be arranging at least one swimming session before the Christmas holidays. This will take place on a Tuesday and once that is confirmed I will notify parents of the arrangements.
Payment Reminders:
By now the 1st payment of RM1500 should have been made. In order to book flights I must have the 2nd payment of RM1500 also paid by no later than Monday 21st November.
Primary FOBISIA Games (9th-13th May)
The deadline for registrations is next Friday 11th November. Parents must have completed the Google Form (here) and paid the RM1500 Registration Fee to confirm their child’s interest in participating.
Numbers have been steadily increasing over the past 2 weeks which is great. We do still need a few more signed up (particularly girls) to meet the required numbers of 10 boys and 10 girls.
FOBISIA Information Meeting – Monday 7th November @ 7:45am
I will be hosting an information session on Monday Morning in MPR I am opening this up to all parents of U13 participants who have registered their child as well as all prospective Primary FOBISIA Parents.
The session will be in the MPR and start at 7:45 (slight time change from what was previously stated) and will run for 20-30mins.
Please come along after dropping your child off at school if you would like to know more about the trips.
