Thank you to all of the KIS Community for coming and supporting last weekend’s Summer Fair. It was incredibly significant to see our community – staff, parents and students coming together and enjoying the day.
Thank you to the parents for their continuous support in the Summer Fair, sponsorship of the lucky draw, and helping during the event as well as our dedicated staff, who were able to give up some of their day to support the success of the morning in so many different ways. I would also like to thank the PTA for their ice cream and drinks stall; this was a welcome treat on a sweltering Saturday morning.
A special mention also to Mr Kenneth Yap, who has helped us out with the popcorn and chocolate fondue, and for the packed-out Magic Show. It was such a delight (where did the chicken come from?)
By purchasing the tickets, each of you has contributed to fund our students’ leadership for their future endeavours. We have successfully collected RM 5,460, which will be divided equally among each student fund, Primary Student Council, Secondary Student Council and Charity Committee.
Special thanks to Ms Lisa and parent volunteers who had helped organise a fun fundraiser -;’Sponsor-a-Karaoke Star’ which saw wonderful singing performances by the staff and our Principal! RM4,111.87 was raised through this activity which will go towards the KIS 50th Anniversary Celebration Fund. Thank you to all who have generously sponsored to unlock the singing stars of KIS and our staff who were great sports!
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our vendors who have come to participate in this event, and we hope we can also collaborate in the future event.
It is with a heavy heart to say goodbye to all; nevertheless, last weekend was a wonderfully memorable day to see our community together and celebrate the day.
