From the PTASC 6.11.2021
Greetings KIS parents,
The PTA Steering Committee, now headed by our dynamic Chairperson Nicole Gervasi, had the 2nd PTASC meeting on 2 November 2021 via Zoom this week. The easing of SOPs in Sabah will hopefully allow more tangible events to be organized towards the end of this year.
Deepavali was celebrated on 4 November 2021 which is a national holiday in Malaysia. The PTASC wishes the KIS Indian community a “Happy Deepavali” and Congratulations to the winners of the KIS Rangoli Contest 2021. We wish to thank the Indian community for the cash prizes donation for the contest. Also known as the Festival of Lights, Deepavali is a celebration of the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness… let us hope that we will triumph over the Covid19 pandemic as well and soon see all the children physically back in school for their learning.
