From the PTASC 21.08.2021

Hello KIS community!

The PTASC hopes you had a restful summer break and are ready for a (hopefully!) great school year!

At the end of last year, we were busy collecting farewell messages for those members of staff leaving our community. These were very much appreciated by those receiving them. It was a common remark of how warm the KIS community is and that precisely these simple gestures made their stay at KIS a very pleasant one. We would like to thank all of you for contributing to the farewell messages.

We also gifted three gold medals and certificates to Ms Entela Agan, Ms Cecilia Loh and Mr Lim Eng Hock, for their 20, 16 and 8 years of hard work at KIS. They were touched by this appreciation gesture which, they said, will be a nice reminder of their time in our school.

A huge thank you to those parents who decided to stay as Class Ambassadors. The Class Ambassadors help with the communication between the school, the teachers and the PTASC; they also ensure all parents are included in their respective class group. If your class doesn’t have an ambassador yet and you’d like to volunteer, please send us an email at pta@kis.edu.my.

Finally, we would like to invite you to be a member of the PTASC, there are still four vacancies left for ordinary members. Again, if you’d like to be part of the team, please contact us through email.
