This week the PTA steering committee had their second and final handover. Many thanks to the outgoing SC who have dedicated their time to a successful 2019-2020 year. We’d also like to thank them for helping with a smooth virtual handover and willing to give us future time/ help with events in the upcoming school year. We’re looking forward to working with all of the KIS families!

PTA DONATION
On the 18th June, the school very gratefully received a cheque donation of RM20,000 by the outgoing PTA Chair and Treasurer, Mrs Liz Wu and Ms Ritu. This donation will go towards the purchase of a thermal imaging scanner that will benefit the school greatly in our safety and health measures.

STORYSACKS PPE DONATION
Further to our story on 23rd May, the StorySacks Team comprising of Victoria, Liz and Nancy who decided to adopt a hospital and assist them in producing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) gowns handed over a total of 40 pieces of gowns yesterday. They were gratefully received by Sr. Azlinda from the Infectious Disease Unit of Likas Hospital.
According to Sr. Azlinda, the gowns will be changed every 1-2 hours depending on the patients that they are seeing so a huge volume is required daily.
Well done to the team for a wonderful community service effort!
