HOUSE MASCOT PRIMARY COMPETITION - RESULTS!

It was an exciting week this week as we saw the culmination of the House Mascot Bag competition.

Tuesday afternoon saw Mr. Gross, Mrs. Renshaw, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Enderby gather in the Primary Meeting Room to make their final choices about which designs will become the images for the new WildBunch Bags. Everyone agreed that it was a tough decision to make with so many fantastic entries so carefully drawn of the new House Mascots, combined with fascinating and knowledgeable facts.

From nearly 50 entries, our judges couldn’t just make one overall winning choice and so selected 3 Highly Commended designs as well as the 3 overall winners. Our Primary assembly saw us reveal the much anticipated results where 6 children were presented with their certificates. Everyone who entered the competition also received a certificate for their efforts.

It is with great pleasure that I can now reveal the final results for this Mascot competition!

WEEKLY HOUSEPOINT TOTALS

It was another super close race between our 3 Houses battling it out to be our Weekly Housepoint Champions this week! We saw Primary accumulate an impressive 1201 housepoints overall with only 3 housepoints separating 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!

Our weekly breakdown of housepoints earned for each House is:

In 3rd place, with 399 housepoints is SAPI!

In 2nd place with 400 housepoints is SULUG!

In 1st place with 402 housepoints is GAYA!

Congratulations to Gaya for staying in the top spot and clinching victory by just 2 points this week!! Can next week be just as close and just as exciting? I can’t wait to find out!!

GO GAYA! GO SAPI! GO SULUG!!

WEEKLY HOUSEPOINT AWARDS

More hard work and outstanding achievements were celebrated in Primary as we presented 16 children with Housepoint certificates during our weekly assembly! The majority of these were Silver Awards, presented when children earn 80 housepoints! I feel we are getting close to seeing the first of our Gold Awards being presented soon. Whose name will appear on the award for 120 housepoints first?
