How many years have you been teaching?
I have been working in childcare and education for over 20 years.
When did you join KIS?
I joined KIS this academic year 2017/2018.
Use three words to describe your first impressions of KIS
Friendly, supportive, caring.
Why do you teach?
Children are our future. I love teaching and providing them with the foundations they need to help them reach their potential.
What are you looking forward to most this academic year?
I’m looking forward to a year of exploration with an excited and motivated year group.
What is your favourite classroom resource and why?
My reading books; they are an invaluable source of creativity.
Who is your hero?
Anyone who challenges themselves.
If you could be a character from a Roald Dahl book who would you be?
The Roly-Poly Bird, because he has travelled the world, speaks many languages and is a helpful friend.
What are you looking forward to doing in KK when you’re not working?
Learning to scuba dive and meeting an orangutan!
