I love teaching maths as it involves a lot of logical thinking and using problem solving strategies; it&#8217;s interesting to see the variety of methods children decide to use, to solve the same problem. Films are a big interest of mine and I enjoy playing my guitar. I am coming over to Kota Kinabalu with my partner Amy so it will be great to explore somewhere new with her. We can&#8217;t wait to climb Mount Kinabalu (when we&#8217;re fit and ready of course) as it seems like a challenge that we both want to overcome.<\/span><\/em>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kis.edu.my\/kisnewsletter\/staffing-news-25-05-19-copy\/maggie-duffield\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-9892\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-9892\" src=\"https:\/\/www.kis.edu.my\/kisnewsletter\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Maggie-Duffield.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"190\" height=\"251\" \/><\/a>Maggie Duffield (Head of Individual Needs)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I am very excited to be joining the KIS community &#8211; staff, parents, and of course, most importantly, the students. I have enjoyed working internationally for a number of years in international schools and school reform projects, including Indonesia, Qatar, and the UAE. I am completing six happy years in Hong Kong to come to Kota Kinabalu.
