Over the next couple of weeks we have longer weekends as we celebrate Kaamatan and Hari Raya and the next newsletter will be published on 15th June so please do check emails, Dojo and the school calendar to keep yourself up to date and informed about school activities.<\/p>\n
Between now and the next newsletter we have a number of events, including the PTA AGM on Tuesday 28th, please come along to ensure we have a quorum (minimum number of people to run the meeting). On the 29th we have Science Day and I have seen and heard so many students working hard in preparation for this and as a science teacher myself, I am looking forward to seeing their efforts.<\/p>\n
On Monday 10th June, we celebrate our most senior students with their Graduation and the day after on June 11th we have our own KIS celebrations for Kaamatan and Hari Raya. The evening of Friday 14th is the social event of the year, Secondary School Prom, get your tickets now. On Saturday 15th the Eco Warriors are hosting a Car Boot Sale in the school hall and this will be open to the public as well.<\/p>\n
Please note, as with last year, the school canteen will be closed on the day before Hari Raya, 4th June and you should make alternative arrangements if your children usually use the canteen.<\/p>\n
Preparations are underway for the swimming galas which will take place towards the end of this term, June 14th for EYFS & KS1 and July 2nd for KS2, 3 & 4. Further details will be sent in due course.<\/p>\n
Thank you to everyone involved in the many activities over the past week. To the staff at City Mall last weekend (and the parents who popped over to say hi). The Parents who helped at the open morning this week, to everyone who donated books for the book drive.\u00a0 Thank you to the parents who came to the Coffee Morning and thank you to everyone who was able to come to the Memorial for Nicholas on Thursday. Thank you to all the staff and students who made Sportnite the memorable evening that it was last night.<\/p>\n

As I write the newsletter I can hear Year 3 practising for their assembly, they sound wonderful and I am looking forward to seeing them all on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
