A favourite fixture on the KIS events calendar, International Day is a whole school celebration of over thirty different nationalities that make up KK\u2019s most established International School.<\/p>\n<p>The event was successfully organised by the school\u2019s Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Students, parents and staff came to school wearing the national dress of their country and had the opportunity to share their culture and food in a fun day of activities, which were enjoyed by all. The school\u2019s Hall was a feast for the senses. The supportive parent community went to great efforts to create eye catching displays that depicted their home country and prepare and share traditional food and activities with the community.<\/p>\n<p>The Principal, Mr Ian Gross, commented \u201cAt KIS we are nurturing global citizens, teaching our students to be accepting of different nationalities, cultures and religions.
