It was well attended with around 80 participants, including Primary and Secondary students and parents. Thanks must be given to the KIS staff that helped out and also to the fantastic Boys Brigade band that was there to buoy up the runners as they passed.<\/p>\n<p>Of course the day was made special by all of the participants that ran either 2km, 4km or a demanding 6km in the KK heat! A huge well done to everyone! Our fastest students are listed below, who received a trophy after the event. A special mention must also go to Rodrigo Pinto in Year 2 who had a nasty fall at the beginning of the race and scraped his knees, but he stood up, dusted himself off and carried on to finish the 2km \u2013 great perseverance!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fastest boys and girls<\/strong><br \/>\n2km \u2013 Mateo \u00a0&amp; Jasmine<br \/>\n4km \u2013 Dougie &amp; Courtney<br \/>\n6km \u2013 Koenraad \u00a0&amp; Nikita<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The KIS Fun Run 2016 was held on Sunday 10th July and kicked off bright and early at 6.30am.
