This field trip was combined with a range of classroom activities throughout the week. In Year 1 the students looked at symmetry in Maths, made rangoli chalk and coloured rice patterns, designed and made clay diyas (lamps), wrote poems and explored sources of light in science, all within the topic of Deepavali.
