We started early, waking the students at 5.45am for a hearty breakfast and then onto the RMIT stadium. The students took part in a flag ceremony and the athletics then began with the 1500m. Throughout the morning we won 38 medals in total and came first in the athletics competition.<\/p>\n<p>We had a short bus ride through HCM city and arrived at ABC International School for lunch. We had the swimming competition in the afternoon and, although the students had been working hard all morning, they demonstrated fantastic determination and skill in the swimming event. Overall, we achieved 29 medals and came first in the swimming too!<\/p>\n<p>It has been a very successful day and the students have represented KIS incredibly well. They have some down-time in the hotel now, before we have a buffet dinner and get some rest ready for the girl&#8217;s football and boy&#8217;s basketball tournaments tomorrow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The KIS team kicked off their FOBISIA Games 2015 with a winning day!
