This easy-to-use online journal helps teachers and practitioners to capture and share student\u2019s experiences, as well as monitor development and learning and will replace the traditional Learning Journal book. The journal is shared online with parents, who can securely log into their child\u2019s account, to see what their child has been doing at school, view their progress, read teacher\u2019s comments and feedback with their own comments.<\/p>\n<p>KIS staff will be able to upload text, images and videos of the student\u2019s activities anywhere there is an online connection and will be available to parents and staff through its web browser interface or mobile app.\u00a0 Each entry helps to create a complete story of the child\u2019s time at KIS.<\/p>\n<p>Tapestry will be used by our Foundation 1 and Foundation 2 teaching staff for the rest of this year and will roll out into Year 1 in September 2016.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday morning the Tapestry Online Learning Journal was launched to our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) parents and met with a very positive response.
