[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]A rare treat was enjoyed by the whole of Primary on Friday morning as Mr Bryant and his band of merry people, performed their version of Robin Hood during our assembly slot. Although I had already seen the play before, it was still such a brilliant showcase of the incredible work of Mr Bryant, Ms Tretter, Ms Bateman and Ms Yuen as well as the talent within the drama group. The children really enjoyed the performance and were truly getting into the spirit of the play, laughing along, playing with the smoke and wowing at the choreography. A wonderful treat and an example of the benefits an all through school can provide.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Not only did we have a performance to enjoy but two of our year groups took part in wonderful trips this week. This past Tuesday, our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students embarked on a brilliant trip to the Rasa Ria Rainforest Centre. This adventure offered a fantastic opportunity for the children to learn about the environment, explore nature, and experience possibly their first big trip with the school. The outing was a tremendous success, with our young explorers returning either very excited or incredibly sleepy\u2014a clear sign of a great time had by all!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In addition to the EYFS adventure, our Year 2 students just returned from their own fantastic trip. They had an enriching experience, and we will share more details about their adventures in next week\u2019s newsletter.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next week marks an important time for our students as they prepare for their next steps in school. Transition activities are vital for helping students adjust smoothly to new classes and environments. On Tuesday, June 18th, students from EYFS to Year 5 will have their transition morning, while our Year 6 students will participate in three days of transition activities from Tuesday to Thursday. These events are crucial in ensuring that our students feel confident and prepared for the upcoming school year. Year 6 parents, please check Mrs. Renshaw’s newsletter for detailed information about the transition days.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recently, we have seen an increase in illnesses circulating within the school. We kindly ask parents to be vigilant in monitoring their children\u2019s health. If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home to rest and recover fully. We want all our students to enjoy the final weeks of this term without the discomfort of illness.<\/span><\/p>\n

A gentle reminder that Monday is a public holiday, so there will be no school. We encourage you to take this time to relax and enjoy precious moments with your family as we approach the end of a wonderful but long school year.<\/span><\/p>\n
