[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As we arrive at the end of the first half of Term 3 we can\u2019t avoid feeling that time is running away from us!<\/p>\n

It has been an incredibly busy few weeks. In this newsletter we\u00a0 have heard all about those \u2018extra\u2019 things which make KIS so special in addition to all the wonderful things happening in lessons. As I write this on Friday we are all looking forward to the Kamaantan Dance in the Hall. Whilst we celebrate this annually, it promises to be extra special this year with performance from students from local schools.<\/p>\n

\"\"\"\"\"\"During the holidays work will not entirely have stopped on the school site. Robin Hood rehearsals will be powering ahead, led by the inimitable Mr. Bryant. The cast and crew have been in full-on rehearsals for months, and there is no doubt that it is going to be an amazingly memorable event and a great celebration of the Arts at KIS. Do make sure that you secure your ticket. You will not want to be disappointed!<\/p>\n

In addition the examinations are continuing. Good luck to those students who will be here working their way through their text papers, and to the staff who will be invigilating and making sure that everything goes smoothly.<\/p>\n

Things will not be any less busy in June.<\/p>\n

The Prom this year will be happening on the 21st<\/sup> June. It is always an amazing event and I am sure that all our students are busy planning their outfits on the theme of \u2018Masquerade!\u2019. Tickets can be collected from Mr Bromley after payment has been made, so don\u2019t delay \u2026. these next few weeks are going to go by in a flash!<\/p>\n
