When young people reach the age of 26 they have, often, completed secondary schooling, attended and graduated university, just started a career and are earning money and are at that age positioned to start making a huge impact on the world around them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It is at 26 years old that all of the foundational learning, the character building and formative experiences of school life comes to the fore. It is a 26 that young people are really able to make an impact as positive, global citizens.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This Wednesday KIS welcomed over 50 prospective parents and students to our school as part of the first \u2018Open Day\u2019 for the 2023-24 academic year. It was a wonderful opportunity for our community to show off what makes KIS so special. It was also an opportunity to hear why parents and students are considering leaving their current schools and looking to join KIS.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The parents I spoke to shared that they want their children to be confident, creative and critical thinkers. That they want their children to be stretched and challenged in a supportive environment. They want their children to be a part of something bigger than themselves. They want them to be global citizens capable of navigating the evolving and complex world of tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">While much effort was put in by our marketing team and teachers to prepare for the Open Day, it was the attitudes and behaviors of our students that really shone through and showed why KIS is such a wonderful school.
