Today, I would like to discuss the topic of emotions and their associated behavioural signs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Experiencing emotions such as happiness, joy or content is as normal as experiencing sadness, grief, or anger. While someone who is happy and joyful can be seen laughing or skipping, associated behavioural signs following sadness, grief or anger may be visible through being withdrawn, being quick-tempered or behaving out of their usual behaviour.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is important to remember that everyone experiences uncomfortable emotions differently, some may express that they feel a certain way, and some may keep to themselves. If you are worried about a friend or child&#8217;s behaviour, it can be difficult to know how to approach the topic with them. Although these emotions are normal, individuals going through these emotions can benefit from support.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Being able to talk to someone other than a parent is sometimes very helpful for children. Grandparents, uncles, aunts, teachers, a school counsellor can all offer support.
