[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Eco-Warriors Get Cleaning!!<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Thursday this week the Secondary Eco Warriors finally began reusing the toilets and sinks that were removed from the KIS bathrooms some years ago. These will be used as plant pots for an upcoming environmental challenge. The Eco warriors worked hard to clean these items that have been sitting unused at the back of the Secondary block. Each form will soon have their chance to grow their own greens in them!!<\/p>\n

\"\"Beach clean:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Eco Warriors will also be holding an upcoming beach clean-up which is going to take place on Sunday 5th of March. This Beach Clean up is going to be held at Langkah Syabas beach then. Merits will be awarded to each person that participated in the clean up and house points will be given to the winning house. The beach clean-up is not only a fun and filling way to spend your day but also an effective way to to clear up the threatful pollution. Be sure to head to Langkah Syabus on the 5th of March and make a contribution to preserve the environment!<\/p>\n

Milk cartons:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"Hello everyone, the Eco Warriors are starting to collect milk cartons for TAME at Tanjung Aru, collaborating with UPcycle Shack. We are collecting any milk cartons that are clean and have a white plastic lining on the inside. There is a labelled bin outside the school at the gate. We will continue this project for the foreseeable future.<\/p>\n

Earth Week:<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There will be an upcoming Earth Week which will take place from 17th April-21th April (just before Earth Day). In order to raise awareness about recycling and the environment, there will be an event where each form is able to grow plants using recycled materials.
