Each class put aside a part of their day to focus on what this day means and practical ways in which the students can be safer online. With students spending more and more time online than ever before, it is essential that they are aware of the dangers and how to conduct themselves online. However, it is not just us educators that have a role to play in creating and maintaining a better online world, parents and carers need to help to ensure the messages being delivered in school are reinforced at home. Y6 were lucky enough to have two talented street artists come into school to work with them on a project to support their unit of learning on Street Art.<\/span><\/p>\n

What a superb day we have had creating some wonderful street art.\u00a0 Phey and Adam, local KK street artists came in to show Year 6 how they can be creative with a spray can. The children were able to create imaginative fonts using their initials with Adam and also used animal stencils which were handcrafted and designed by Adam to embellish their backgrounds.\u00a0 A truly inspiring day with some local artistic talent, we hope that some of the artwork created today by the children will be on the walls at home very soon!\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
