With this only being a 2 week half term, everybody has thrown themselves straight back into their learning. The primary teaching team have been busy making plans for more showcases and assemblies in order to involve you in this learning. Getting involved in your child\u2019s education is a great way to increase your child\u2019s confidence, self-esteem and motivation as well as helping to improve their grades. Take the time to talk to your child about all the amazing things they are learning in school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are also busy planning trips and for KS2, we are bringing back the overnight residential trips. Going on school trips really helps students gain real-world experience that cannot be taught in a classroom, opening their minds to different cultures and strengthening their knowledge of the world around them.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The following are some of the key benefits of students undertaking school trips:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bring subjects to life<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Boost self-confidence<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Increase motivation<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Encourage good behaviour<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Broaden their horizons<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please ensure you are connected to Class Dojo and that we have your correct email address so that you don\u2019t miss out on any of these exciting opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This week, in our celebration assembly, we welcomed the New Year with a discussion of celebrations around the world. Please look out for these and if you have any questions speak to the class teacher.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next week we celebrate Chinese New Year. We are planning for the Lion Dance to visit all the classrooms. Children may come in traditional clothing or wear clothes that are red if they so wish. As well, the school photography team will be in Tuesday to Thursday.
