Following a very vibrant Pink coloured school last Friday, we were truly impressed with the creative imaginations from students, staff and parents. The beast did truly follow the beauty. Well done to everyone who took part and made the day so enjoyable.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Last Tuesday the FOBISIA U15s (the KIS Vipers) gathered at the airport to say their goodbyes to parents and left for Thailand with Ms Watt, Mr Watson and Ms Abdullah. They have been truly fantastic over the past week showing such great resilience, teamwork and determination. There have been some great results with many medals claimed by the KIS students competing in these first FOBISIA games since the pandemic. We are proud of all of them, their endeavours and their achievements. I will leave Ms Watt to follow with a summary of the week and we wish them all a safe return this weekend.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A huge thank you to everyone involved in our Primary Global Goals Day, thank you to the many visitors who supported this day with their knowledge and experience. The day presented our students with the opportunity to be inspired and empowered to achieve so much. It also challenged our presenters when we had a power-cut part way through and I am pleased to say they rose to the challenge admirably. Thank you Mr Beresford for overseeing the day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This weekend sees the return of a physical UBUNTU exhibition. This is the 5<\/span>th<\/span> annual event and we are proud to be sponsors and hosts for this wonderful initiative. Please do come along to school during the day from 10am for various stalls and activities and then join us in the early evening from 6pm for the exhibition. Saturday promises to be an amazing day and another opportunity for inspiration and empowerment for children and adults alike.  <\/p>\n

Next week we will be practising some of our emergency drills. On Wednesday morning we will have a school evacuation drill and this will be followed the next day with a lockdown drill, also in the morning. Staff will be reminding students of our expectations for these two drills through the week. On Friday 11<\/span>th<\/span> we will hold our annual remembrance assembly to honour armed forces members who have died in the line of duty.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Finally, a thank you for your generous donations in support of the passing of Jumat Mandasim, one of our longest serving members of staff. If you still wish to donate you can through the school Maybank account with the reference \u2018Jumat\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n
