What a fantastic return to this favourite in-school event. Luckily the rain stopped in time and the Parade was a success. Thank you to all the parents for all your hard work preparing the food stalls (well done Korea), you are all winners and you were all incredible. Thank you to the PTASC for organising, and especially Nicole Gervasi who moved into school for the weeks building up to the event, making sure everything would be in place for the day. Well done to everyone who dressed up, you made the day sparkle. Thank you to the student councils for keeping us entertained. A big thank you to the people behind the scenes \u2013 our grounds staff, for setting up and packing away \u2013 great job. Finally, our gratitude to our sponsors for the magnificent hampers and tremendous raffle prizes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>International Day was the end of a great first half-term back in school and followed hot on the heels of another firm favourite, the Secondary Sports Day. To be back in Penampang Stadium with so many students, staff, and parents was a real pleasure. My heartfelt thanks to our PE Department, ably led by Ms Watts, made sure the day was a great success. Thank you again to our PTA members for supporting the day with refreshments and arranging sponsorship with drink suppliers. We are excited for the Primary Sports Day next.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As we look forward to a well-deserved break next week, it is worth looking at a couple of events when we are back in school. Friday 28<sup>th<\/sup> we recognise and support awareness for Breast Cancer with the KIS Pink Day, students, staff and parents are encouraged to come to school in Pink, donations will be collected for local charities. On Monday 31<sup>st<\/sup> October, we will be having a Scary School Dress Up Day for no other reason than the fun of it.
