Student\u00a0AND PARENT<\/strong>\u00a0Applications to join the KIS Eco Schools Committee!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As you are aware, KIS has been participating in the Eco-Schools international programme of environmental and sustainable developmental education for schools since 2019. At the heart of the programme is a structured \u2018change management\u2019 process called THE SEVEN STEPS, used by schools to work towards continuous improvement in environmental action.<\/p>\n

Currently, the programme is being implemented in over 50 countries around the world, involving more than 40,000 schools.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\"\"KIS was awarded the Bronze level award in 2021 and we are obviously aiming for the top\u00a0 \u2018Green Flag\u2019 award!<\/p>\n

To achieve this we require an Eco Committee which consists of 4 students from Primary and 4 students from Secondary.\u00a0The committee meets approximately three times a year and sets the agenda for the meeting, chairs and minutes it, and leads the discussion.<\/p>\n

As a committee we have chosen 3 areas area for action:<\/p>\n
