[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It has been a wonderful week of learning in primary. Everyone is busy with their new topics for the term. The student council continue to be busy with discussing ways they can improve the school. They have already implemented Playtime Buddies. Each day, one student volunteers to be the buddy for the class. If any of the students are sad or have no one to play with they can seek out the Playtime Buddy.<\/p>\n

We now have these amazing bibs so that students can identify the playtime buddy from afar!<\/p>\n

A huge thanks to the fabulous team of parents who helped to make these.<\/p>\n

The student council have also been helping the Eco-Warriors consider how we can make classrooms more trash free.<\/p>\n

They are very keen to help out at the Eco Car Boot Sale on the 21st May by holding a Bric-a-Brac sale.<\/p>\n

For anyone who doesn\u2019t know, this is a sale of unwanted goods.<\/p>\n

They would like the primary students to donate any toys, games or books that they no longer want but are still in good condition.<\/p>\n

If you have anything you want to donate, please bring it in and hand it over to the class student council representative.<\/p>\n

Last week, I mentioned how we have been talking about Shared Responsibilities in our weekly assemblies and it was lovely to see so many students being Global Citizens and helping out at the beach clean last Saturday.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, we now ALL have the huge responsibility of deciding who will be our Global Citizen of the year!<\/p>\n

The profile of the selected student must be aligned with the school\u2019s vision of Global Citizenship:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A global citizen understands that we are all connected, upholds the values of equality and actively contributes to the development of a better world.<\/p>\n
