Have you heard of the 2 Minute Day?<\/h3>\n

It will be celebrated on Sunday 27th June at 2pm<\/strong>. You dedicate your time, and take just 2 minutes out of your day to clean streets\/beaches or have 2 minutes to yourself. The 2 Minute Foundation have started a trend to turn marine waste into beach-cleaning equipment, and then to use that equipment during the 2 Minute Day.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Foundation built prototype beach cleaning equipment made from marine litter. The charity\u2019s founder said that it had been a dream of his since he had first organized a beach clean in 2007. Dorey\u2019s aim was to spread the fact that marine litter \u201ccan be used for good instead of going to landfill or continuing to choke our oceans.\u201d<\/p>\n
