{"id":13748,"date":"2020-09-25T08:54:52","date_gmt":"2020-09-25T00:54:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kis.edu.my\/kisnewsletter\/from-the-head-of-pe-and-sport-19-09-2020-copy\/"},"modified":"2020-09-25T10:28:33","modified_gmt":"2020-09-25T02:28:33","slug":"from-the-head-of-pe-and-sport-26-09-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kis.edu.my\/kisnewsletter\/from-the-head-of-pe-and-sport-26-09-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"From the Head of PE and Sport 26.09.2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This week\u2019s newsletter is a flash back to the end of last year and recognising the achievements of those students who were awarded the Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year Awards as well as the inaugural Junior Sportswoman and Sportsman of the year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We were able to acknowledge and celebrate their wonderful achievements in the celebration assemblies. However, with our Primary students not in school at the end of the year, they could not be presented with their awards. This week, I was able to present the winners, Leroy (7K) and Sophie (7S) with their awards in front of their form groups.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shelving is planned to be placed outside the Sports Hall entrance in order to be able to display the plaques and other House and FOBISIA sports awards on a permanent basis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I am sure that we will once again have a lot of talented athletes in the running for taking out the honour of Sportsman and Sportswoman of the year, as well as Junior Sportsman and Junior Sportswoman in 2020-21.
