I think it\u2019s safe to say that we were all hoping to be back in school by now and throughout the weeks parents, teachers and students have had their good days and bad days with remote learning. Having to rely on a good internet connection has been challenging and I fully appreciate the frustration of posting videos to Dojo when they won\u2019t upload. Parents have been an invaluable to support to their children in encouraging and at times cracking the whip to complete tasks and activities and I cannot thank you enough for your support. As parents gradually return to work, it is obviously becoming more difficult to provide the support that they have been providing. Please remember that class teachers are available throughout the school day to provide guidance, clarification and support and can be contacted in a number of ways. All Key Stage Two classes now have a Google Meet\/Hangout group available to them so that they can communicate independently with their friends which will help to ease the feelings of social isolation. Please do complete the Remote Learning Survey sent by Mr Gross on Friday. As the remote learning period continues we are looking at new ways of delivering the curriculum and will use your valuable feedback to do this. You are also more than welcome to contact me directly with your feedback and suggestions.<\/p>\n<p>On a separate note but keeping with the theme of learning, Scubazoo are now offering their fun worksheets in English, Malay and Chinese. Each week a different animal is featured and children are able to find out about each one using this link <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scubazoo.tv\/education\">www.scubazoo.tv\/education<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For all our artists out there, DGFC have just launched an art contest and would like to invite KIS students to take part. This month\u2019s theme is Malaysia\u2019s endangered wildlife species, chosen to encourage people to learn more about the endangered wildlife species in Malaysia.
