U13 FOBISIA Training<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Monday 17th February @ Likas Athletics Stadium<\/p>\n

Students will travel to the venue from school by bus at 3:15pm and need to be collected from Likas Stadium at 5:00pm.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

MSSS Golf<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

On Tuesday and Wednesday, 6 KIS students took part in the MSS Sabah Golf Championship held at Karumbunai Golf Course.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, it was the U12 competition with Caleb (6S) and Brandon (7S) taking part. Brandon improved on his MSSD score shooting 56 over 9 holes to finish in 12th place out of 36. Caleb shot 52 which put him in 7th place overall.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Wednesday saw four students from secondary taking place in the U15 Age Group. Speaking to the students afterwards they commented that conditions on the course were challenging which resulted in some higher scores than expected. David is to be commended for finishing in 6th place in the boys division with a score of 86 (+15). Ben shot a 79 (+7) which saw him tie with another competitor and so was awarded 3rd place on a count back. Backing up from his win in the MSSD in the holidays, Timothy shot 73 (+1) to win the tournament by 6 shots from his nearest competitor.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Angelina, competing in the Girls U15 age group finished a highly commendable 5th place in her event scoring 91 (+19).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are now awaiting news on which students will have qualified to represent the state of Sabah at the MSSM Championships. Congratulations to all students who took part and represented KIS and KK at the event.<\/p>\n

Football and Basketball Gala Day: Saturday 15th February<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I am looking forward to seeing many students and parents at school today, taking part in and supporting the Primary Football Gala and the U13 Basketball Gala taking place from 8:00am-12:30pm. The school will certainly be a hive of activity with so many students on site and well supported by our wonderful Student Council and PTA volunteers.<\/p>\n
