What a fantastic time we all had at International Day on Thursday. It was certainly a day to remember with so many wonderful sights and sounds to enjoy. Children were proudly dressed in their traditional costumes and the delicious selection of food was a treat for the taste buds.\u00a0 On behalf of Primary I would like to convey a big thank you to everyone who helped to make the day such a success. The effort and dedication that went into the day was inspiring. I hope you all manage to have a restful weekend to recover.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=&#8221;International Day&#8221;][vc_gallery type=&#8221;image_grid&#8221; images=&#8221;10971,10973,10970,10969,10968,10972,10978,10979,10974,10981&#8243;][vc_separator][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>ASSEMBLY<\/h4>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;11007&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221;][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This week\u2019s assembly gave me my first opportunity to present house point certificates. The Bronze Award for earning 40 house points was presented to a number of children and you can see their picture on Class Dojo. A special well done to the children in F2 who were super excited about receiving their awards and were so happy for each other\u2019s success. Ms Siti, our new school councillor introduced herself during assembly time and explained her role to the children. We also listened to a parent speaker who announced a special walk that will soon be taking place at KIS and the reasons behind it. More details to follow. The Charity Committee was also announced and congratulations to all 23 children who put themselves forward and are keen to raise awareness and share their many ideas for fundraising.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Next Wednesday parents and carers are invited to a Dojo parent workshop at 8am in the MPR. This is an opportunity for you to find out more about how we use Dojo in school and about how you can use it at home.
