Such enthusiasm was stimulated by the variety of guest speakers who visited school to talk about animal welfare. In particular, the \u2018Kids to Conservationists\u2019 presentation delivered by Milena Salgado Lynn\u00a0and Benoit Goossens from the Danau Girang Field Centre had children discussing what they would like to do when they grow up.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On behalf of Year 2, and as a thank you to Dr Wong who came in to chat with us about his work at the sanctuary in Sepilok, I have adopted a sun bear named Romolina. Our little one-year-old cub had been taken from the forest and kept as a pet, confined to a tiny cage.
