As we wrap up another exciting week at KIS, we’re thrilled to share some highlights of the wonderful learning experiences that took place. With the holiday spirit in full swing, our students have been engaged in both festive and educational activities, making for a memorable time at our school.

The middle of the week brought forth a wave of holiday joy as our students, teachers, and staff joined together for a heartwarming Christmas singalong. Wednesday and Thursday were filled with the sweet sounds of familiar carols and festive tunes echoing through the hallways. The spirit of unity and celebration was palpable, creating lasting memories for all who participated. We extend our gratitude to our talented music department and all those who contributed to making this event a resounding success.

A special congratulations to our Year 6 students who dazzled us with their insightful showcase on the human body. Throughout the term, they delved into the intricacies of anatomy, physiology, and health. The showcase was a testament to their hard work, creativity, and understanding of the human body’s marvels. Parents and guardians were treated to fascinating presentations, interactive displays, and even some impressive models created by our budding scientists. Well done, Year 6!

With just one week left before the holiday break, we are gearing up for an exciting celebration of literature during Book Week! Students and teachers alike are encouraged to embrace the magic of storytelling, characters, and the boundless worlds that books offer. Expect a week filled with literary-themed activities, creative costumes, and, of course, a love for reading that will echo through the halls of KIS.

Parents, be sure to check in with your child’s teacher for specific details on Book Week events, and feel free to join us for any planned activities. We can’t wait to see the creativity and enthusiasm that our students bring to this beloved annual event.

In addition to our themed events, classrooms at KIS have been abuzz with general learning activities. Students across all year levels have been actively participating in a wide range of learning this week. Our dedicated staff continue to inspire a love for learning, and we are immensely proud of the academic growth and achievements we’ve witnessed throughout the term.

As we approach the final stretch of the term, we encourage families to celebrate the accomplishments of our students and to enjoy the festive spirit that permeates the school. Thank you for being an essential part of our KIS community.

Wishing you all a joyful weekend and looking forward to the excitement of Book Week ahead!
