HEAD OF PRIMARY 

We are seeking an internationally experienced and enthusiastic Head of Primary who can lead the Primary School with drive, energy, vision and dedication. The Head of Primary, supported by the School Leadership Team, is responsible for the academic leadership and day to day management of the Primary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for further developing the standards of teaching and learning in line with 21st century best practice.

The new Head of Primary will continue to lead the journey to excellence in academic achievement and the development of successful well-rounded global citizens, by working closely with students, teachers and parents. In addition, they will have significant experience of working in schools where a large proportion of students have English as an Additional Language.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to motivate, inspire and unite the KIS Primary community, and be dedicated to developing a love of learning in all students. We are looking for passionate teachers with recognised teaching qualifications and a minimum of three years successful teaching experience. Applicants must be committed team players keen to contribute to the ongoing development of our busy, expanding and forward-looking school, and willing to play a full part in the school’s pastoral care and extra-curricular programmes. A position of responsibility may be available for the right candidate. Excellent spoken and written English language skills are essential. Successful candidates will be offered a two year contract.
