Cambridge Examination Award Winners at KIS
Kinabalu International School is celebrating academic success with the news that two students have been awarded Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards in the AS Level and IGCSE Exams coordinated by Cambridge International Examinations. Maisie John was presented with two ‘Top in Malaysia’ Awards for her Geography and Business AS Levels at the awards ceremony held on Thursday 22nd November in Kuala Lumpur. Former student Antoine Tregeur received a High Achievement Award in his IGCSE First Language French examination.
KIS Deputy Principal and Head of Secondary, Mrs Margaret Renshaw remarked “This is the sixth year in a row that students in our Sixth Form have received awards for their hard work in our A Level programme. Not only do the awards recognise the students for their hard work, but it also reiterates the high quality teaching at the school. At KIS we offer a balanced education, where we encourage students to achieve their very best academically, as well as developing the many essentials skills desired by universities and employers today.”
