Sixth Form Options Afternoon

Sixth Form Options Afternoon

The annual Sixth Form Options Afternoon was held earlier this week for our Year 11 students and their families, as well as families interested in joining KIS for the Sixth Form.

The afternoon began with a presentation by Mrs Margaret Renshaw, Assistant Principal and Head of Secondary & Sixth Form, which provided detailed information about the A Level Programme at KIS and useful guidance to assist students in selecting their subjects.

Students and parents then had the opportunity to meet with individual subject teachers to find out further information and ask questions about subjects of particular interest. Since commencing the A Level programme in 2012 the number of A Level subjects the school offers has increased to 12, providing students with a broad choice across the Arts, Humanities and Science.

With the support of our teaching staff, the school’s current Year 13 students applied to the universities of their choice at the start of this academic year and have already received a number of offers. Previous KIS graduates have progressed to some of the leading universities in the world, studying a wide range of courses from Medicine and Law, to Engineering, Geography and Finance.
