Cambridge International Examination Success

Three students from Kinabalu International School were awarded ‘High Achievement’ certificates last month for their academic achievements in the May/June 2017 Cambridge AS Level and IGCSE examinations. The CIE Outstanding Learner Awards recognise the exceptional performance of students around the world in Cambridge examinations. They reflect the talent and hard work of students and acknowledge the dedication and commitment of both teachers and parents.

Vinay Murthy was presented with a High Achievement Award in Applied ICT AS Level, Intan Dols for AS Level Art and Design and Camille Barriere for IGCSE First Language French. The presentation ceremony was held in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, at the Armada Hotel on Monday 27th November and Vinay and Intan’s proud parents were there to see their children receive their awards. KIS was represented by Mrs Lucy Bernard. This highly prestigious event saw over six hundred students, parents and teachers come together to celebrate academic success.

KIS is immensely proud of the Cambridge Awards that our students have gained over the years. In just 5 years of the A Level programme students at KIS have received 14 CIE awards, including Top in World and Top in Malaysia.
